Getting started

Enter the rift

1. Open Play Rift Run.
2. Choose Story Run for the campaign, or Local Arena for two players on one device.
3. Use the keyboard, touch buttons or a standard-mapped game controller. If a controller is already paired, focus the page and press a button so the browser can see it.

Five chapters lead through the pocket galaxy. Watch the Goal and Transmission beside the game for the current objective. Collect coins, use barrels and charge your pulse. The Controls guide covers every input.

Want a first taste? The portal’s chapter previews jump straight into Spacecore, Fungarena or Cellar. Preview runs don’t save progress or change your saved campaign. Use Play Rift Run for normal campaign play.

Take a breath

Use Pause to hold the run. From there, open Settings for difficulty, quality and reduced motion. Closing Settings opened from Pause leaves the run paused; choose Resume when you are ready.

Your browser stores campaign progress. Cloud saving is optional: see Saves and cloud sync before switching devices or clearing site data.

Play together

Local Arena puts two players on the same screen. Touch drives Player 1; keyboard controls or a second controller can drive Player 2. It is local play on one device, not an online match.
