Rift Run

Controls

Keyboard

  • A / D or Left / Right: move.
  • W / Up / Space: jump.
  • S / Down: drop through one-way platforms.
  • Shift: dash.
  • J: melee. K: throw a barrel. L: use a charged pulse.
  • C: cycle unlocked runners. N: mute or unmute audio cues.

Use the Pause button to stop the action. In Pause, Escape resumes. Shift + R asks to start a fresh run; repeat it to confirm. Read the confirmation before resetting progress.

Touch

The movement cluster has left, right and drop. The action cluster has jump, dash, melee, barrel and pulse. In Settings, adjust control scale, left-handed layout and haptics. Hide controls hides the touch controls; switch it off in Settings to bring them back.

Game controllers

The game accepts controllers that report the browser’s standard mapping. Focus the page and press a button after connecting.

  • Left stick / D-pad: move. Push down to drop through a one-way platform.
  • A / cross: jump. RB / right shoulder: dash.
  • X / square: melee. B / circle: barrel. Y / triangle: pulse.
  • Start / Options / Menu in Story Run: pause or resume during play. After play has ended, it can ask for a fresh run with confirmation.

In Story Run, Start does not reset an active run. When using menus, follow the selected button and its label.

Pair an Amazon Luna controller

Hold Action + B for about three seconds until the white light blinks. Select the controller in your device’s Bluetooth settings. A USB-C data cable is another option. Return to the game, focus the page and press a button.

Some systems show the Luna controller twice. The game uses the standard-mapped entry and ignores the other entry; a duplicate listing does not mean you need a second controller.

Local Arena

  • Player 1: A/D move, W jump, S drop, Shift dash, J melee, K barrel, L pulse.
  • Player 2: Left/Right move, Up jump, Down drop, / dash, , melee, . barrel, ; pulse.
  • Controllers: the first two usable controllers drive Player 1 and Player 2, with the same controls as above.
  • Touch: controls Player 1. Use a keyboard or another controller for Player 2.

Walk over a tan pad to arm a barrel. Coins charge the pulse. Jump up through ledges and press drop to come back down. Pause also contains the Arena controls.

In Arena, Start asks for a new match; press it again within 1.6 seconds to confirm. Either player’s controller can confirm. Use the Pause button to pause an active match; Start can resume once the pause menu is open.
